Notes

'Yaku Jima' eulalia (Miscanthus sinensis 'Yaku Jima') is a grass for borders, specimens, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Narrow, light green blades turn reddish brown in fall, and you can shear the plants to the ground just before new growth emerges in spring.

Pairs well with Joe Pye weed, Spotted beebalm, and Ornamental onion.
