Notes

'Yalta' autumn crocus (Crocus 'Yalta') is a bulb for borders, containers, and rock gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and most soil types. Violet flowers open in early to late spring and attract bees. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Janis Ruksans bred it.

Pairs well with Common snowdrop, Winter aconite, Reticulated iris, and Lenten rose.
