Notes

'Yamagoochi' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Yamagoochi') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers have a Japanese type form. Growers often compare it to Osaka, a fine pink peony, and call it equally fine.

Pairs well with Rainforest Sunrise hosta, False Solomon's seal, Little bluestem, and Stargazer lily.
