Notes

'Yellow Bird' magnolia (Magnolia 'Yellow Bird') is a tree for specimen planting, borders, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Fragrant flowers open in early to late spring. They draw butterflies, bees, and birds. Give it plenty of room to grow tall and wide.

Pairs well with Lily of the valley, Excelsior Spanish bluebell, and Halcyon hosta.
