Notes

'Yellow' false yucca (Hesperaloe parviflora 'Yellow') is an arching plant for specimen planting, rock gardens, and winter interest. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It blooms in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and hummingbirds, butterflies, bees, and birds visit the flowers. Deer rarely make it their first choice.

Pairs well with Karl Foerster feather reed grass, California poppy, and Ice plant.
