Notes
'Yokohama' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Yokohama') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It forms a compact, medium-sized clump with numerous flowers. The Japanese type blooms are large and rose pink, and they open late in spring and into early summer.
Pairs well with Siberian iris, Wild bergamot, and Pink Impression tulip.
