'Yokohama' tulip (Tulipa 'Yokohama') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. The yellow-orange flowers open from early to late spring. They are fragrant, so you can bring a few stems indoors.
