Notes

'Yonder Lea' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Yonder Lea') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Mrs. Latham Fletcher bred it. The single red flowers are medium size and bloom in early summer. Bright yellow, almost orange centers stand out against the red petals.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, Wild bergamot, and Cinnamon fern.
