Notes

'Yuying' peony (Paeonia 'Yuying') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. Its yellow, semi-double flowers reach 7 inches across and have ruffled petals with rose tints at the edges. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Butterflies visit the spring blooms.

Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Primrose, and Jackmanii clematis.
