'Zahara Starlight Rose' zinnia (Zinnia elegans 'Zahara Starlight Rose') is an annual for borders, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is not cold-hardy and will not survive freezing temperatures. This plant likes full sun and dry to average, loamy soil. It grows fast to 12 to 24 inches tall and wide, and butterflies, hummingbirds, and bees visit the blooms. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Cut stems for bouquets.
Pairs well with Cotton Candy cosmos, ProCut White Lite sunflower, and Red fescue.
