Notes
'Zella Dale' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Zella Dale') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Blush white buds open to large white double blooms with a cupped center. The flowers are strongly fragrant, and the strong, erect stems hold them up well. Willis J. Smith bred it.
Pairs well with Iris, Cheerfulness daffodil, Blonde Ambition blue grama, and Sensitive fern.
