Notes
'Zenith' snow crocus (Crocus chrysanthus 'Zenith') is a bulb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and lawns. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun. The large, violet-blue flowers have paler, near-white insides that hold golden stamens and orange pistils. The blooms are richly perfumed. If you plant it in a lawn, hold off on mowing as long as you can so the bulbs build energy for next year.
Pairs well with Little Beauty tulip, Spanish bluebell, Sensitive fern, and Sedge.
