Notes

'Zephyrus' peony (Paeonia 'Zephyrus') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen plantings. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The semi-double pink flowers have red flares and open from spring into early summer. Kelway bred it, and butterflies visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Paris coral bells, Jackmanii clematis, and Primrose.
