Notes

'Zinger' rose (Rosa 'Zinger') is a compact shrub for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and loamy or clay soil. Medium red blooms are fragrant and appear in late spring, summer, and early autumn. Bees visit the flowers. Ernest W. Schwartz bred it in 1978.

Pairs well with Sea holly, Blue mistflower, and Niobe clematis.
