Notes

'Zion' peony (Paeonia 'Zion') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears fragrant, light pink single cups in early to late spring that attract butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. William Henry Krekler bred it.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Prairie dropseed, and Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta.
