Notes
'Zurel' tulip (Tulipa 'Zurel') is a bulb for borders, cut flowers, containers, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun, average moisture, and sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and bears white flowers from early to late spring. Vertuco B.V. bred it. The blooms last well in a vase.
Pairs well with Thalia daffodil, Delft Blue common hyacinth, Armenian grape hyacinth, and Mistress tulip.
