Notes
'Adrienne Clarkson' peony (Paeonia 'Adrienne Clarkson') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen planting. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average moisture. The fragrant, single flowers open pale yellow, fade to cream, and show raspberry-pink flares. Deer and rabbits rarely make it their first choice. Maurice Ménard bred it, and bees and butterflies visit the blooms.
Pairs well with Pale purple coneflower, Abiqua Drinking Gourd hosta, Limelight hydrangea, and Nodding onion.
