Notes
'Adzuma-Sibori' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Adzuma-Sibori') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The flowers are single, so each bloom has one simple ring of petals. Cut a few stems for a vase and leave the rest to brighten the garden. Dessert bred it in 1909.
Pairs well with Lenten rose, Balloon flower, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
