Notes
African milk tree (Euphorbia trigona) is a succulent for containers, specimen planting, and low maintenance gardens. It grows outdoors year-round in USDA zone 10 and warmer, down to about 30°F (-1°C). In colder areas, grow it as a houseplant or bring it indoors for winter. This plant likes full or part sun and dry to average, sandy or loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The evergreen stems grow fast into a tall columnar shape and tolerate drought.
Pairs well with Spanish dagger, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Lemon Coral sedum, and Cape leadwort.
