Notes

'Aimee' forest gardenia (Gardenia jasminoides 'Aimee') is a shrub for borders, specimen planting, containers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full or part sun and dry to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It stays dense and evergreen, and the fragrant blooms open in spring and again in summer. Bees and birds visit it. Deer tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Pineapple sage, Calla lily, and Western redbud.
