'Aissina' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Aissina') is a shrub for borders, perennial beds, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Cut the blooms for bouquets, and place the shrub where its woody stems have room to grow year after year.

Pairs well with Balloon flower, Lenten rose, and Standing Ovation little bluestem.
