Notes

'Aksarben' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Aksarben') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It grows tall and upright with dark foliage and strong stems. Fragrant white flowers open in early summer and last well in a vase. The buds form in clusters, so you get plenty of blooms to cut.

Pairs well with Tiger lily, Pink Impression tulip, and Carnation.
