Notes

'Alan Bloom' bloody geranium (Geranium sanguineum 'Alan Bloom') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, rock gardens, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Pink flowers open in spring and again in summer, and bees and butterflies visit them. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything.

Pairs well with White Swan coneflower, Cheerfulness daffodil, Sedge, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
