Notes
'Album' bloody geranium (Geranium sanguineum 'Album') is a perennial for borders, ground cover, rock gardens, and cottage gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. It forms a spreading mound of dissected green foliage with pure white flowers that attract bees and butterflies. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. Plant it at the front of a border, where it weaves into its neighbors.
Pairs well with Obsidian coral bells, Blue fescue, and Curly Fries hosta.
