Notes

'Little Bead' bloody geranium (Geranium sanguineum 'Little Bead') is a perennial for borders, rock gardens, ground cover, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy or clay soil. Purplish red flowers appear in spring and again in summer, and they draw butterflies and bees. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The leaves also turn color in fall.

Pairs well with Sedge, Cheerfulness daffodil, and August Moon hosta.
