Notes
'Alan Eby' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Alan Eby') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The wine-pink Japanese type flowers have twisty cream centers that fade to white. They bloom mid season and last a long time. Blooms rise well above the dense bush.
Pairs well with Tiger lily, Pink Impression tulip, Sensitive fern, and Carnation.
