Notes
'Alba Plena' banksian rose (Rosa banksiae 'Alba Plena') is a vine for accent. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. It grows fast with a cascading habit, so give it room to spread. White flowers open in spring and again in summer, and butterflies visit them. Deer rarely make it their first choice. It also tolerates salt.
Pairs well with Boxwood, Festiva Maxima peony, and Fountain grass.
