Notes

'Lutea' banksian rose (Rosa banksiae 'Lutea') is a vine for borders, containers, and accents. It is hardy to USDA zone 8, or down to 10°F (-12°C). This plant likes full sun and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. It grows fast and cascades, with fragrant double yellow blooms in spring and summer. Deer rarely make it their first choice. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Italian cypress, May Night salvia, Olive, and Lemon thyme.
