Notes

'Alba' willow bell (Campanula persicifolia 'Alba') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. White flowers open from early to late summer on clumping plants. Butterflies, hummingbirds, bees, and birds visit the blooms. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal.

Pairs well with Eastern columbine, Empress Wu hosta, and Phantom panicle hydrangea.
