Notes
'Albert Crousse' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Albert Crousse') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. The ball-like double flowers open late in spring in light rose-pink with a deep, rose-like center. They are mildly fragrant. Strong stems hold the blooms upright, and François-Félix Crousse bred it.
Pairs well with Black Hero tulip, Blonde Ambition blue grama, Love-in-a-mist, and Compass plant.
