Notes
'Alexander von Humboldt' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Alexander von Humboldt') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. E. H. Krelage & Zoon introduced it. Cut stems make a fine show indoors.
Pairs well with Earth Angel hosta, Obsidian coral bells, and Stargazer lily.
