Notes

'Alexandria' Siberian bugloss (Brunnera macrophylla 'Alexandria') is a perennial for shade gardens, woodland settings, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Blue flowers open from early to late spring and attract bees. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. The clumping mound grows up to 15 inches tall.

Pairs well with Bellwort, Wood lily, and Western sword fern.
