Notes
'Alice Williams' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Alice Williams') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Large, double, orchid pink flowers open in late spring with a faint silvered edge and occasional red markings in the center. The stems are stiff and straight, and the foliage is good.
Pairs well with Swamp milkweed, Sedge, and Picture tulip.
