Notes

'Alline Rogers' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Alline Rogers') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Its double, salmon pink flowers open in mid spring and show splashes of red near the center. Strong stems hold the blooms above dark green foliage. Col. Jesse C. Nicholls bred it.

Pairs well with Scentara Double Blue lilac, Sedge, and Black Hero tulip.
