Notes

'Alluring' peony (Paeonia 'Alluring') is a shrub for borders, cottage gardens, specimen planting, and cut flowers. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The flat apricot blooms have red flares and open in early to late spring. Each stem carries three buds and has good stem strength. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Maltese cross, and Stargazer lily.
