Notes

'Amazone' hosta (Hosta 'Amazone') is a perennial for shade gardens, borders, and containers. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to moist, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. It grows 12 to 24 inches tall and spreads at least 24 inches wide. Bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds visit the fragrant flowers.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Sorbet peony, and Blue wood aster.
