Notes

'Amber Moon' peony (Paeonia 'Amber Moon') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, cottage gardens, and specimen use. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. The single yellow blooms have rosy crimson edges and open from early to late spring. It sits low on the menu for deer and rabbits. Prof. Arthur Percy Saunders bred it.

Pairs well with Sum and Substance hosta, Christmas fern, Star Gazer lily, and Black Parrot tulip.
