Notes
'Amethyst Beauty' clematis (Clematis 'Amethyst Beauty') is a vine for containers, specimen planting, and privacy screens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist soil. The lavender-purple flowers have a hint of magenta in the midribs. Deer and rabbits tend to pass it by. It blooms again and again from late spring to early fall on stems 6 to 8 feet tall.
Pairs well with Endless Summer hydrangea, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Green Spice coral bells.
