Notes

'Anastasia' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Anastasia') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Fragrant, large pink flowers open in late spring and age to silver edges. Don Hollingsworth bred it. Strong stems hold the blooms, so it makes a big bush.

Pairs well with Siberian iris, False Solomon's seal, and Blonde Ambition blue grama.
