Notes

'Anne-Christine' peony (Paeonia lactiflora 'Anne-Christine') is a perennial for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Hermann Krupke bred it as a seedling of 'Nippon Gold'. Fragrant white flowers with an intense yellow center open in early summer. The upright plant stands about 33 inches tall.

Pairs well with Thumbelina zinnia, Black Parrot tulip, Spanish bluebell, and Kentucky bluegrass.
