Notes

'Annemarie' heather (Calluna vulgaris 'Annemarie') is an evergreen shrub for borders, rock gardens, and pollinator gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun and average to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Deer tend to browse other plants first. It has an ascending habit and grows at a moderate pace. Bees visit the blooms in summer and again in autumn.

Pairs well with Blue fescue, Rose Glow Japanese barberry, and Greig's tulip.
