Notes

'Anomala Semiplena' peony (Paeonia 'Anomala Semiplena') is a perennial for borders, cottage gardens, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It is not a favorite of deer or rabbits, though hungry ones will eat almost anything. The flowers are fragrant and attract butterflies and bees. It blooms in spring and again in summer.

Pairs well with Curly Fries hosta, Nodding onion, Standing Ovation little bluestem, and Annabelle hydrangea.
