Notes

'Apollo' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Apollo') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. It bears lilac-pink or rose-pink blooms in early summer. Kelway bred it, and it grows to a medium size.

Pairs well with Halcyon hosta, Lenten rose, Prairie dropseed, and Greig's tulip.
