Notes

'Apple Blossom' Japanese primrose (Primula japonica 'Apple Blossom') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full sun to full shade and average to moist, loamy soil. The pale pink flowers have orange and yellow eyes. Deer usually look elsewhere for a meal. Plant it in colonies for a great show.

Pairs well with Japanese iris, Siebold's hosta, and Siberian bugloss.
