Notes

'Postford White' Japanese primrose (Primula japonica 'Postford White') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes part sun and average to moist, loamy soil. It sits low on the menu for deer. Fragrant flowers open in early to late spring and again in early to late summer, and butterflies visit them.

Pairs well with Japanese iris, Siebold's hosta, and Siberian bugloss.
