Notes

'April Remembered' camellia (Camellia japonica 'April Remembered') is an evergreen shrub for borders, containers, and hedges. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes part sun to full shade and average to wet, sandy, loamy, or clay soil. It grows slowly into a columnar shape, and bees and birds visit it. It is not a favorite of deer, though hungry deer will eat almost anything. Give it room to fill out over time.

Pairs well with Lady fern, Coralbells, and White bigleaf hydrangea.
