Notes

'Arabella' tree peony (Paeonia suffruticosa 'Arabella') is a shrub for borders, cut flowers, and perennial beds. It is hardy to USDA zone 4, or down to -30°F (-34°C). This plant likes full or part sun, average moisture, and loamy soil. Dr. Gian Lupo Osti bred it. The semi-double, ruffled flowers are light purple with dark purple flares. The upright shrub grows 5 to 6 feet tall.

Pairs well with Autumn Frost hosta, Cinnamon fern, and Blue Arrow Rocky mountain juniper.
