Notes

'Arctic Glow' great globe thistle (Echinops sphaerocephalus 'Arctic Glow') is a perennial for borders and low maintenance gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 3, or down to -40°F (-40°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. White globe flowers open from early to late summer, and butterflies and bees visit the blooms.

Pairs well with Blue grama, Maiden pink, Matrona october daphne, and Limeglow creeping juniper.
