Notes

'Argenteus' thyme (Thymus vulgaris 'Argenteus') is a perennial for rock gardens, containers, borders, and ground cover. It is hardy to USDA zone 5, or down to -20°F (-29°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to moist, sandy or loamy soil. Lilac flowers open in spring and again in summer, and bees and butterflies visit them. Deer and rabbits usually look elsewhere for a meal. The fragrant leaves stay evergreen through winter.

Pairs well with Blanket flower, Little bluestem, and Sundrops.
