Notes

'Silver Posie' thyme (Thymus vulgaris 'Silver Posie') is an herb for borders, containers, rock gardens, and food gardens. It is hardy to USDA zone 6, or down to -10°F (-23°C). This plant likes full sun and dry to average, sandy, loamy, or chalky soil. This evergreen has fragrant, silver and green variegated leaves and forms a slow creeping mound. Deer and rabbits tend to browse other plants first. Bees and butterflies visit the flowers.

Pairs well with Munstead lavender, Purpurascens sage, and Lavender cotton.
